What ages do you serve? 

At this time, I will be serving students who are currently in 1st- 3rd grade. Will be serving Older students soon! 

When are you available for tutoring?

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

FALL Tutoring will also be available!

How long are your sessions? 

Sessions last for 45 minutes. 40 minutes for tutoring and 5 minutes for consultation/follow-up meeting with parent.

Do I need to bring anything for our first session? 

Please bring a book your child is currently listening to or reading.

How many children do you tutor at a time? 

Tutoring sessions are one-on-one.

Are there activities my child can do outside of tutoring that will support what they are learning with you?

What are your qualifications to teach reading? 

• Master of Education in Literacy 

  • K-12 Special Reading Certification with State of Missouri 

• Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education 

  • 1-6 Certification in Elementary Education with State of Missouri 

• 15 years experience in public education 

• K-5 Reading Specialist 

• Taught First, Second, and Third Grades as a Classroom Teacher 

• Trained in the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education's Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Plus

• Trained in S.P.I.R.E. and S.P.I.R.E. Foundations: Sounds Sensible
